I've actually read several people's writings about forgiveness since I wrote that post, and realized that I don't have a full understanding of how very hard it can be to forgive when you have been deeply wronged. So I really appreciate each new view that gives me a fuller understanding.

Thanks for writing..
MaryOwlhavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08914960326214046859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906977568463200606.post-43104223848689909972009-07-24T09:34:17.125-04:002009-07-24T09:34:17.125-04:00Looking toward adopting my kids--one of them is 7 ...Looking toward adopting my kids--one of them is 7 now--this is a very interesting post. You wept because He revealed to you that it doesn’t have to be this way, but it is because of our pride and rebellious nature. You wept for young women who will experience the consequences of our condition. You wept because you are a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend and you know what it feels like to be loved and protected. You wept because you know what it’s like to need protection. You wept because you know that regardless of what happens in this world you will always have the protection of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. You wept because that’s what He does when we hurt.gnandpa2tlchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963131681466088850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906977568463200606.post-50479811528090000942009-05-01T17:52:00.000-04:002009-05-01T17:52:00.000-04:00Mmmm. We figured if it wasn't an unusual word, it wouldn't be embarassing or hard to talk about later (well, at least the word would not be hard to talk about). Now, this does lead to a few interesting moments in church or stores. But, the words are no different than the words for other body parts.

Ah, and we had one of those moments this past week when big brother explained to little brother what that part was when baby brother discovered his. Yeah, fun times. HeheheAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906977568463200606.post-25664764583184784612009-04-25T19:42:00.000-04:002009-04-25T19:42:00.000-04:00I am perhaps not a foremost authority in the area ...I am perhaps not a foremost authority in the area of parenting and home economics since I spent all of my parenting years in the workplace and in many cases neglected the real needs of my children while hiding behind the shield of physical provision and personal achievement. With that said you might wonder why I am offering advice to a young parent who just happens to be my firstborn granddaughter whom I love! Someone once said that success is standing upon your failures so that is my platform!

I have noticed that when I start my day without a plan I usually accomplish everything I have planned. I need some direction in order to keep myself on track. You are familiar with my belief that God wants to be involved in everything we do and He gives us examples to pattern our lives by. When you look at all that He has created and all that He does there is order and evidence of careful planning. Nothing He does is haphazard or chaotic. I believe He intends us to pattern our lives after Him and make an effort to be orderly. That should be no problem with three under four!:)gnandpa2tlchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15963131681466088850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7906977568463200606.post-11476459449087457972009-04-25T17:06:00.000-04:002009-04-25T17:06:00.000-04:00Mmmm. Our daughter (now 14mos) has definite sensitivities or even full-blown allergies to dairy, eggs, strawberries, and acidic foods like oranges and tomatoes. Can you cut these last few out and see if there is improvement?

We had to get a topical prescription cream to get rid of the hives and eczema, and then we could keep most of it in check with diet and a good slathering of Aquaphor. The doc told us to keep baths to a minimum and to use an oily wash made by Eucerin (it's in a gold bottle), and these have really helped as well. But the foods are the culprits, and the other stuff just keeps her skin hydrated and less prone to breakouts. Good luck!!
- Melissa at dropthebabyweight.comMDiskinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15838716310730455831noreply@blogger.com
